If the Admiral lets us choose to leave the ship for some ports, why do we get such limited warning about being able to disembark?

Probably a warden. He was with Bennet and Bourne, and they're both wardens. Bennet's unassigned, so he couldn't have been her inmate.

It's still on the table. Bourne doesn't know I'm looking. He thinks I'm fixated just on him. As long as he thinks that, there might still be a chance.

I think you're just setting yourself up for disappointment.
