Does anyone actually know how off-Barge contact yesterday was made possible? Or is that another Barge secret inmates aren't allowed to know about until they have a warden to check in with first?

I don't think for a second that's what you were trying to point out. Even privately, you are still making it sound as if we're groping around with little to no concept of what the hell it is we're doing, implying that we put lives at risk whenever we go in that room, when the opposite is true. Talking about us like - like we're just well-meaning amateurs is utterly demeaning.

You can think that if you like, but you'd be wrong. Only thing I've wrote is how difficult I appreciate it is. You could give De Vinci an F-22 and he'd have a time trying to figure it out, too - don't mean he's no genius. Just that being in his shoes would suck.

It's not what you said, it's what you implied and continue to imply in saying it. I don't think you understand that we actually have most of the engine's functionality mapped out by now. Christ, did you think we've spent the last year sitting on our hands? Even Da Vinci would have some ideas about an F-22 given that much time, not that that's an even remotely appropriate comparison.

But never mind. If you didn't want anyone to take offence, I won't. Usually I admire you for being so direct, Rayne, so I'm just asking that you keep in mind that the things you say might not always come out sounding like you meant them to.
