A while ago, I asked if humanity had made contact with aliens by the time period of others on the Barge. It seemed like most people had at least sent people into space. We've set up space colonies orbiting Earth, but we haven't made first contact with any alien lifeforms yet. Space travel isn't necessarily uncommon, but only politicians and military officials frequently travel between Earth and the Colonies.

What's considered normal technology for your world? Is commercial space travel available?

[When Heero doesn't respond, David takes that as having scared him into silence and feels rather pleased with himself. It's alright if he can't get to him now - Bourne's the real threat anyway, this was just simple, petty shit-stirring.
