They're oppressing the Colonies. [But it's said much more like a learned response then something he actually believes. Whether that's because in general, he speaks very flatly or if because it is actually a learned response is up for questioning.]

[She frowns at his response. There's little conviction or anger in his voice, not even a hint of sincerity. Truly a fitting answer from a child soldier.]

However far I have to to complete my mission.

[She can understand him to a degree. She's been taking risks in order to make sure the team don't lose themselves during the Fischer job. Hell, she's now a warden in order to get the job done. Still, her conviction is way different from Heero's.]

Even if it means hurting others? People who are innocent?

[There's a slight pause. He remembers the girl and her dog.] If that's what's necessary.

Does endangering innocent civilians really help your cause? Aren't you fighting for them in the first place?

I don't intentionally endanger civilians.

No, of course not! They shouldn't be sending people so young to fight though. [It doesn't matter how many years he's fought and trained, the fact remains that Heero's still a teenager.]

How old are people drafted in your timeline?

No younger than 18. Also where I'm from, it's been decades since drafts were necessary.
