[Heero has been doing his reading, and he is not all that impressed, Barge. Accepting that he's died comes easily enough - it's been a risk he's been well aware of and happy to accept for a long time - but the lack of structure and logic in this place doesn't sit well with him in the slightest.

His voice is almost entirely flat, almost disinterested, and maybe just a little annoyed.]

There's a space fortress called "Barge" where I came from. Somehow I doubt it has much in common with this place.

Since arriving on board, has anyone actually spoken with the Admiral personally? I have a few questions I'd prefer he answer himself.

[The skeptical eyebrow only makes him smirk. He's got no problem proving himself. It's one of his favorite hobbies.]

Hope you've got a strong stomach. This'll be gross to watch.

[And it is. It's no instant transformation, blink and he's something else. It's a gradual proces - lips bulging into a beak, body shrinking, arms shriveling and sprouting feathers, his clothes falling around him. But in fifteen seconds it's done, and there's a big bird of prey standing where a human boy once was.]

[While Heero isn't grossed out, he's definitely startled and immediately backs up a full step, hand instinctively going for a gun which... isn't there and sort of just throws him off further. But within a second or two he's recovered enough to just glare suspiciously at the bird, not entirely sure what to make of it. He's done his reading, he knows there are non humans and humans with abilities on board, but it's another thing entirely seeing it in person.]
