Heero's current warden. Olive confuses the hell out of Heero, mostly because she's just so much a typical teenager and he's... not. At all. Ever. That said, because of his previous time on the Barge, he's warmed up to her relatively quickly, even if she won't give him a weapon and doesn't seem to get that he doesn't care much about graduating. He does want to protect her, though, and even is willing to follow her more absurd directions, for the most part. He even let her hug him. Twice. How weird is that? OLIVE PENDERGHAST |

If Heero really understood what having a parent was like, he'd probably see Cooper as one, or, at least, a good stand in. They were father and son during a breach, and since then (plus the benefit of being covert agents), Heero has looked out for him in his own way, and Cooper has done the same, which mostly involves being as untalkative as possible while actually sort of touching on important issues. Cooper is privy to Heero’s suicidal tendencies both by firsthand experience, and because Kay told him about it. He does actually worry about him, and Heero does actually trust him, for the most part. As much as he trusts anyone, anyway. WILLIAM COOPER |

Slade is another parental figure for the teenager. He’s just as – if not more – stoic than Heero, and he definitely knows the score about how your job can kind of mess up your life. However, he’s less of an open worrier about Heero, and has seen firsthand that the kid is 100% capable of taking care of himself in just about any situation. Slade was the one Heero went to when he found out that Bourne had been kidnapped and was being impersonated by David, and the two banded together to help bring down the other inmate. SLADE WILSON |

Kay is Cooper’s warden, and Heero first started talking to him largely in the context of Cooper’s disappearance and reappearance, specifically in how he was coping with reentry to the Barge and the fact that his family was in danger. However, as the weeks have gone by, Kay has become someone Heero feels like he can talk to about stuff going on on the Barge that he’s not sure about and in general, is someone Heero keeps an eye out for. Kay was the first person he really talked to about his suicidal tendencies, although obviously Ariadne and Olive were aware of them because of his file, and although talking about them doesn’t mean he’s really dealing with them, at least it’s more out in the open now than it was before. Una was Heero’s mother during the Wild West Breach, which was his first real experience with what being a normal teenager is really about. Admittedly, it was a real 1867 teenager, but the facts were still the same that his breach counterpart had a loving family, and he never had one. Part of him would really like to talk to Una more often, but the other part of him is still rooted in the “I’m not sure I want to have personal relationships with people” phase, and so he hasn’t done much to continue building a relationship between the two of them. UNA PERSSON |

Rhade is another inmate who actually seems to more or less get the Barge, and he’s an interesting person to talk to. He’s a solider too, and from a society that’s pretty different from the rest of the people on the Barge, but since it’s got space travel, Heero pretty much immediately took an interest in the other solider and the two of them are… well, Heero doesn’t really do friends, but if he did, that’s what Rhade would be. GAHERIS RHADE |
Brax is always a good person to have a conversation with. Not in the sense of sitting down and discussing feelings or anything like that, of course, but when it comes to how the Barge works and why people are here, Heero enjoys listening to his input. IRVING BRAXIATEL |
Nygma took an interest in Heero in his early weeks on the Barge, and Heero was always very suspicious of his intentions – mostly because he’s suspicious of everyone’s intentions. Still, he was a useful tool for a time, and now he’s apparently one of the wardens that everyone else thinks is incompetent and shouldn’t be here. This means he’s a person of interest, and indeed, it seems like he’s the source of quite a bit of drama quite often, although not necessarily a direct threat just yet. EDWARD NYGMA |
Johnny Cade is barely older than Heero, and honestly, the other teenager wonders if he should be a warden. Not in the sense that he’s a bad guy, but because he seems constantly terrified and nervous of things on the Barge, and considering the environment that is the Barge, that’s definitely not a good thing. Still, he seems like a decent enough kid, all things considered. If Heero knew Quatre at this point, Johnny might kind of remind him of the other pilot. JOHNNY CADE |

Heero knew David was a threat pretty much immediately, and played along with David’s assumptions that because Heero was an inmate, he’d want to get off the Barge using any means necessary too for a long time, mostly to keep an eye on the other teenager and stay on top of what he was planning. That said, he didn’t have a lot of patience with David’s pigheadishness over the idea of actually being able to escape, since Heero accepted that he was stuck on the Barge pretty much right off the bat, and David… definitely didn’t. This fake alliance lasted until Heero found out that David had kidnapped and was impersonating Bourne in an attempt to find the Admiral and escape, with the help of Mark Hoffman. Heero told Slade, and the two of them – with Will Graham, who had also figured it out – took down David, Hoffman and Slick and freed Bourne. David broke Heero’s femur in the fight, but Heero more or less walked it off. In Heero’s mind, that was the end of it. David has other ideas, and enjoys telling other inmates that Heero is a traitor, and probably is plotting to kill him at this very moment. The difference between them is that David thinks this is something personal. Heero just… doesn’t really care. DAVID |
Slick was sort of one of David’s henchmen for his “brilliant” plan to escape the Barge, and at first, assumed Heero was a warden because he’d assisted in the takedown. He figured it out pretty quickly, though, and also likes to complain about how Heero’s a traitor who can’t be trusted. And again, Heero really couldn’t give a shit. SLICK |
Hoffman is a big, dumb thug, too busy trying to get revenge on a woman from his world and whining about the Barge and morality and whatever else to really get anything accomplished. Still, big, dumb thugs are a threat too, and considering the role he played in the kidnapping of Bourne, he’s someone that requires keeping an eye on. MARK HOFFMAN |
Heero thinks Bourne is incompetent. Getting jumped by your inmate, after not limiting his powers and apparently not paying attention to the fact that he really wanted to get off the Barge any way possible, especially when you have a background in the military and intelligence, is just fucking embarrassing. And considering David still seems to have made zero progress, and is just as unstable and nuts? Bourne is clearly not doing his job. JASON BOURNE |
Will was the only warden involved in taking down David, which basically means that Heero thinks he’s not such a bad guy. They haven’t had a whole lot of interaction – in the slightest – but his assistance was appreciated. WILL GRAHAM |
Vanessa seems a little bit like David, in that she’s very stubborn about all wardens being the enemy and can’t get over the fact that she’s here, and there’s no way to get out. Apparently David likes people who thinks this way, because he took it upon himself to tell her that Heero was a “traitor” and chatted with her a bit. Honestly, Heero sort of almost pities the inmates who can’t accept that they’re stuck here unless they want to change. VANESSA VANCLEEF |

Tosh wouldn’t let Heero have access to the engine rooms back when he first arrived on the Barge. Why you gotta be like that, Tosh? TOSHIKO SATO |
Eddie was one of the only wardens when Heero first arrived on the Barge who didn’t seem to mind Heero asking questions, and he seemed to have a fair few of his own as well. Because of that, Heero labeled him one of the pretty okay wardens, and more or less sort of likes him alright because of it. In so far as Heero ever likes anyone. EDDIE RUSSETT |
Armand really annoys the hell out of Heero. For some god unknown reason, he seems to have taken an interest in him, and asks him asinine questions about how he’s doing and whatever else. Heero is not one for casual conversation, and since Armand has yet to make an impression as being a particularly intelligent, competent or interesting person, Heero has basically zero interest in talking with him. Basically, Heero is an antisocial asshole and doesn’t understand when people are just trying to be friendly. ARMAND ST. JUST |

Heero's first warden. Heero... didn't actually hate/actively dislike/ignore Ariadne, which was. Weird. By no means were they friends, but Heero viewed her both as a superior and someone to specifically protect in dangerous situations because of that. If they weren't warden and inmate, it's likely this protectiveness would have been much less, but he did sort of vaguely appreciate her curiosity about the Barge, as it basically matches his own. That said, it frustrated him that she was so stubborn for someone with no military background, and wouldn't give him a gun. She vanished without warning, and Heero sort of regrets not knowing what happened to her. ARIADNE |

Treize, more than basically anyone else right now, is the face of the enemy back home for Heero. Seeing him on the Barge was weird, but sort of exciting in the sense that this meant someone had killed him back home and hopefully ended the war TREIZE KUSHRENADA |

Wichita looked just like Olive, and was kind of a bitch. They talked once about what it was like to have people on board from back home, but the conversation was brief, and she disappeared not long afterward. WICHITA |

Heero didn’t exactly like Steph. They talked a fair bit when he was new to the Barge, and he more or less explained to her what his job was back home. This led her to suggest that Heero was here because he was fighting for the wrong side. And while Heero doesn’t exactly STEPHANIE BROWN | BATGIRL |
